On 5 June, the time had come - we celebrated the start of construction for our new logistics hall 5 with a symbolic ground-breaking ceremony.

At the official start of construction, Dr. Hans-Uwe Berger, Managing Director and owner of AUTEC, welcomed the Mayor of Schifferstadt along with numerous other guests. In his welcoming address, he said: ‘With the further expansion of our logistics capacities, we are sending a clear signal for growth and investing in the future of our company.’

In future, ‘Hall 5’ will serve as a modern narrow-aisle warehouse for tyres. The hall will be designed with sophisticated logistics processes that will significantly increase the availability of tyres for the production of complete wheels in particular and, in conjunction with fully automated tyre assembly, will enable delivery times within the shortest possible time.

Completion is planned for December 2025.
